What We Believe and What We Are Doing
We believe in taking care of the marsh where we fish, hunt, boat, and live. It's our way of life down here on the Gulf Coast. To do this, areas of the marsh most prone to habitat degradation require extra care to keep the ecosystem thriving. These shallow pond systems are both beautiful and fragile, and protecting them is essential. Our goal is to reduce motor traffic in these areas to protect submerged aquatic vegetation, limit bank erosion, and reduce pressure on wildlife. We support responsible public access and do not want to see our waterways gated off. Every fisherman should have access to our navigable waterways. Our aim is to educate boaters about the impact of running gas-powered engines through the delicate bottoms of these shallow pond systems and promote paddle, pole, and troll methods instead.

Additionally, the page features links to information about the area's buoy, tide, and weather forecasts. As a member, you'll also be the first to know when tournament registration opens. The Sheepy
March 21-22, 2025
The Sheepy is a fly fishing only tournament based out of Hopedale, Louisiana targeting the Sheepshead species within the Louisiana marshes. The Sheepshead, or Cajun Permit as it’s known amongst those who target them on fly, are one of the hardest fish to entice on fly when on the flats. On top of great fishing, this tournament offers some great food, drinks, and giveaways for all who attend. It’s a great time, but also for a great cause. Join us for The Sheepy this year! Marsh Masters
April 12, 2025
Marsh Masters is your chance to mix Golf with fishing in a single, epic day! We kick things off with a morning captain's meeting to cover the rules, followed by lines at around 7 am. By 1 pm, it'll be lines in and head back to the shop to catch The Masters on TV and show off your chipping skills in a backyard chip off. With prizes for the top fishing team, top golfing team, and of course, the grand champions!

Whether you're coaxing a finicky Triple Tail to take the bait or battling a Jack Crevalle to break its will, this tournament is all about the action and excitement. Bring your A-game and get ready for an epic showdown!
