The Sheepy is a fly fishing only tournament based out of Hopedale, Louisiana targeting the Sheepshead species within the Louisiana marshes. The Sheepshead, or Cajun Permit as it’s known amongst those who target them on fly, are one of the hardest fish to entice on fly when on the flats. On top of great fishing, this tournament offers some great food, drinks, and giveaways for all who attend. It’s a great time, but also for a great cause.
